I am going to dig up worms for the chickens and tell them the bad news about wordpress.

  1. We got home from work and found one of our chickens dead in its pen. No sign of “foul” play (tee hee hee)and it was only 2 yrs old. Highly suspicious… No worms for Henny Penny… So do not become too attached to your chickens. They can let you down worse that people!

  2. Pete, thank you for your comment. I think it is well taken. Everyday when I go out to let the chickens out of their coop (morning) or put them back into coop (evening), I say to them, “Look, Big Mama (the responsible chicken), Moss (the pecky chicken), and Little Peep (the shy chicken who hides in the ferns), I know you look like you are in fine shape, but you can depart from us at any moment, know how well you are fed and protected. Life is short. Pray, chickens!”
